The Cup English Football League, also known as the Capital One CUP1 (formerly Carling Cup) and League Cup is a football tournament which takes place in England.
Only 20 members of the FA Premier League and the 72 members of the Football League can participate. The winner qualifies for the Europa League. the competition was sponsored by beer brand Carling. From the 2014-2015 season, the Capital One Bank is the sponsor of the League Cup.
